For 7 years, Eva has been suffering from a mysterious disease: she is allergic to all odors and chemicals, in addition, she is tormented by depression and panic attacks. She lives in complete isolation, goes out only in a special spacesuit and serves as a "guinea pig" for the experiments of doctors trying to find out the nature of her illness. Researchers only understand that it's all about the psyche. Most of all, Eva is depressed by the lack of physical contact with people — only her brother and a psychiatrist come to her, who must write a report on her condition. The psychiatrist and Eva have long conversations about what love is and about the difference between sex and real intimacy, which, unlike sex, is not available to everyone.
