The 17-year-old resident of a small Polish town had little contact with her father, who had long since left to work in Ireland. The only thing she could remember - he had promised to buy her a car for her birthday. But this information is not enough to identify the father's corpse after an accident at a construction site. To transport the body home, the heroine needs 3,500 euros, which she has nowhere to take. However, her trip to Ireland turns out to be by no means useless. It turns out not so much the search for inheritance, but rather the restoration of the father's psychological portrait and a philosophical discussion about who is more indebted to whom: parents to children, or vice versa.
