47 Copenhagen schoolchildren aged 11 to 15 are taking part in an extended "immersive" nature lesson: an abandoned and overgrown construction site will serve as their classroom for 10 weeks. Under the guidance of teachers, children will have to rediscover that sense of unity with nature that has long been lost by modern urban inhabitants. Teenagers taste snail slime, eat berries from bushes, study the soft core of a prickly chestnut, and learn to understand the language of nature. The practical lesson is accompanied by the voiceover of the grandmother-nature, which existed billions of years before man and now is trying to appeal to his mind: "I hope you're another one of my wonderful creations".
